- I’ve been working out consistently since mid-January. I weighed 117lbs back then, and as of today, I weight in at 124lbs. I’ve been following an “intense” workout program called Max-OT, which revolves around the idea of exercising using heavy weights at low repetitions. While physically and mentally straining, the workouts are relatively short (last between 30-45 minutes). I currently workout 4 times out of the week, with cardiovascular exercises during the weekend (running, basketball). I try to randomly alternate the group of muscles I train in order to create muscle confusion and to avoid plateauing. My diet has me eating smaller meals but more frequently throughout the day. I routinely eat a solid and hearty breakfast. I eat much less fast food. Fruits and vegetables are becoming more common in my meals. All in all, my body feels great and I’m exciting to see the results in another 3 months.
- I was hoping to travel somewhere during the month of March, although it is becoming unlikely. I’ve been more focused on traveling to Spain and France this Summer. I’m trying to travel during the dates of the Euro 2012 football (soccer) tournament. I would love to have some traveling companions, but I don’t think I mind going alone. I would also love to visit Japan, but I am saving that trip for another time.
- I just finished watching the entire first seasons of two television series; Homeland and Boardwalk Empire. Homeland was awesome; I’m sure I wasn’t the only one wishing to work for the CIA after watching. I’m anticipating the new season. Boardwalk Empire was good. Pretty much any type of mobster movie or series always has me intrigued. I’m going to watch the second season throughout the next few weeks.
- My roommate is going to be gone for three months for military purposes. I wish him well and a speedy trip back.
